From the reviews
Dr. Jamie Keen has been my doctor for the past year while treating my Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease (TED), and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. From the very beginning, Dr. Keen made me feel safe, heard, and genuinely cared for.
Dr Winkler and all his staff are wonderful. they make sure the patient knows exactly what is going to be done and they make You fell as comforatable as they can about any surgery coming up and stay with You to/through/and after including post surgery info needed for the patients complete recovery.
Have been dealing with an eye condition for three months. Was referred to Dr. Kathryn Winkler at Chicagoland Oculoplastics. What a Godsend she was. I received a thorough examination, procedure and plan for treatment of the situation. She, Along with her staff, were efficient, approachable, helpful, and friendly.
I was referred to Dr. Winkler by my Dr Mark Benjamin, seen on the same day as the referral. The office staff is very attentive. Dr. Winkler's examination and diagnosis helped ease my stress and presented the guidelines that will lead to the resolution of an ongoing problem.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
