What patients say again and again
“I truly appreciate that I was made comfortable with choices made and thankful for the life changing results!”
From the reviews
After breastfeeding two kids I had lost almost all of my breast volume and shape. I am very petite in stature and so I was concerned about finding the right size that would provide me with a natural look. I initially met with another surgeon in Birmingham and knew in my gut that he was not supposed to be my surgeon.
Dr. Wallace has a calming presence that makes you feel comfortable. She truly listens to your concerns and has your best interests in mind when discussing services and procedures.
I have always wanted lip filler, and I finally went for and went to Dr. Wallace! She did such a fabulous job and talked with me about all the good and informed me of all the risks and do’s and don’ts. I felt very comfortable knowing she would inform me of all things related to the process.
February 2021 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I didn't have insurance and through my surgeon and hospital I was able to qualify for Medicaid through the Breast and Cervical Cancer Program. The mastectomy was covered but I could not find a plastic surgeon locally that would accept Medicaid for reconstruction.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
