From the reviews
I had a tummy tuck and muscle repair performed by Dr. Yang 3 months ago. I chose to schedule with him over another area surgeon because I liked his bedside manner and felt like he recommended what was in my best interest. Because of this, I saved money skipping a procedure he didn't think was necessary.
I just had a brest reduction at Midsota and couldn't be more satisfied. It has been less than a week, but so far so good. The staff treated me with nothing, but dignity and respect. I had very little pain and everything looks pretty good as of now.
In my experience, I dealt with 2 doctors and most of the staff. I am truly impressed with every single person. They actually cared about me and what needed to be done. Their hearts are truly into what they do. I couldn’t have asked for better people to help me through my situation. One surgery planned, one emergency.
Dr. Houle and the entire staff at Midsota were kind, professional and incredibly capable. I knew I was in good hands every step of the way, and I absolutely love the results. My entire life I have struggled with body image, but no more. I am happy and confident in my own skin.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
