About this practice
“I just finished my revision surgery, and while there’s still some recovery ahead, I have to say—my body looks incredible.”
What patients say again and again
“Thankfully, a local plastic surgeon and nurse listened to what I wanted — a more natural-looking reconstruction — and referred me to the Center.”
“Some people end up suffering through multiple surgeries, and lots of scars with less skilled surgeons and suffering with those bad results for years afterwards.”
“Cabiling and the entire team are truly the best in the world — compassionate, incredibly skilled, and absolutely dedicated to their patients.”
“At one of my follow-up visits, he came into my room with tears in his eyes and told me something I’ll never forget: “I don’t get to say this often, but you are free of cancer.”
“Traveling for such an intense surgery was daunting, but her encouragement and my trust in the team gave me confidence.”
From the reviews
I have never written a review of anything, ever. I have composed reviews, of my experience at the Center, many times and discarded them. I will complete this review.
So worth traveling! Just go! I traveled from Arizona to New Orleans because the local surgeons wanted to do the most unspeakable and radical surgery when I only had stage one. I thought my life was over. The breast center hospital is like heaven. It is elegant and comforting.
I want to share the details of my DIEP Flap surgery experience in New Orleans—specifically with the specialized team at the Center for Restorative Breast Surgery (CRBS)—because the specifics make all the difference when facing this life-changing procedure.
I underwent a double mastectomy with direct to implant reconstruction with Dr. Corsetti and Dr. Cabiling. Both physicians are fantastic and thorough with their explanations. Although my final pathology was not what I had hoped for.. I will say my entire experience here has been great. Dr.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
