From the reviews
Dr. Pourtaheri performed an excellent hand surgery on my severely injured hands on Nov. 27, 2023. In the surgery room, I half jokingly said to him, " Now my hands are in your hands...please take care of them...
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Pourtaheri. The moment you walk in his office you feel welcome. He took the time to explain to me step-by-step the surgical procedure, and he answered all of my questions and concerns before and after the procedure. I felt really listened to and very well taken care of.
Dr. Pourtaheri is an excellent doctor and advocate for natural beauty. He came highly recommended by a friend and I’m so happy to be his patient now. I feel like every time we chat he has my best interest in mind and wants me to end up with the best possible result.
When I was referred to Dr Pourtaheri, I was very frightened, I had skin cancer on the side of my nose & the damage was so severe that my cancer doctor was referring me to a plastic surgeon. I have had many cancers removed, but never did my cancer doctor feel I needed to go to a plastic surgeon.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
