From the reviews
I'm honored to write this review for Dr. Ariel Rad. I found Dr. Rad by a review just like the one I want to share with you today. My hope is it will convey what a first-class doctor he is! My initial meeting with Dr. Rad in May 2012 was serendipitous.
I first contacted Dr. Rad back in April and had two virtual consultations, each lasting over 45 minutes. He was incredibly thorough, immediately understood what bothered me, and explained in great detail how he’d approach each concern.
There aren’t enough stars to adequately express my opinion of Dr. Rad. He performed my reconstruction surgery following treatment for breast cancer as well as several other procedures over the last few years. His skill as a surgeon is exceeded only by his kindness and gentleness.
Dr Rad was/is my surgeon of choice during the difficult journey through Breast Cancer and reconstruction. He is kind, compassionate and a perfectionist in his work. His peers , staff and my fellow nurses speak highly of him consistently and he really does live up to his reputation as the best.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
