About this practice
What patients say again and again
“Dr Ott was very compassionate and listened to my concerns.”
From the reviews
Dr Ott Young did my implant replacement. (Original ones done years ago by another surgeon post mastectomy). She, and the outcome, was extraordinary! Above my expectations through entire process from consult to surgery to several post op visits.
I think that my experience today was wonderful. I called the office on Monday explaining that I was traveling and would be back in CT by wednesdsy and needed to have an ultrasound and see Dr Ott asap. Dr Ott’s receptionist, Lisa, went out of her way above and beyond, to contact Dr Ott and arrange everything.
I had an excellent experience with my breast reduction procedure. Dr. Ott was professional, attentive, and truly understood my goals. The results are exactly what I hoped for—natural-looking, well-proportioned, and life-changing in terms of comfort and confidence.
Dr. Ott is the absolute BEST. I highly recommend her. She is not only intelligent and extremely knowledgeable, but truly cares about her patients. She is very friendly, and down to earth. She always makes me feel so comfortable speaking with her about any questions or concerns, and thoroughly explains everything.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
