From the reviews
Dr.Kangs office never seen me before yet I called about a concerning mark on my back and they set me up with a cancellation slot they had just 2 hours later! I showed up a few minutes early and they seen me before my appt time even. Staff was very pleasant, nurse was very nice and Dr.
Had abdominal liposuction. I was nervous about it until I met with Dr Kang and his PA Dustin.. They explained EVERYTHING to me and what results to expect. My procedure was performed at Hamot Surgical Center and everyone there was as kind and professional to put me at ease!
I've had several procedures performed by Dr. Ajaipal Kang, and he is an excellent physician. He took the time to listen to my questions and concerns, explained everything in a very detailed way, and made me feel comfortable in the initial consultations, throughout the procedures, and at the follow-up/post-op…
I’m so thankful I chose Dr. Kang and his amazing team! He performed my panniculectomy (insurance covered), extended tummy tuck, and breast lift, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. He’s incredibly skilled and really listened to what I wanted, and it shows in my outcome.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
